Honda has revealed the Brio facelift in Indonesia, at the 2016 Indonesia International Motor Show. The Honda Brio facelift gets a new front end, and spruced up interiors, similar to the recently upgraded Amaze.
The front gets a new bumper and redesigned grille, although the rear end remains the same, apart from new tail lamps. Wheels are new 14-inch rims and Honda has introduced a sportier RS trim in Indonesia, with 15-inch rims, side skirts, projector headlamps and LED guide lights.
The interior get spruced up too with a fresh new dashboard and a new digital air con panel. The top spec RS trim gets a 6.2 inch touchscreen unit and an all-black cabin. The Satya E and S trims come with dual tone black-beige cabins – black dashboard and beige seats.
Under the hood, the upgraded Brio gets the same 1.2-litre SOHC petrol engine, but has been retuned to deliver slightly more power and torque – up from 87bhp and 109Nm to about 89bhp and 110Nm. The facelifted Brio is offered with a five-speed manual transmission as well as a CVT in Indonesia. In India too, the new Brio may be offered with a CVT as an option.
