Earlier this year, a leaked image of Lenovo’s presentation revealed that the company will be launching around half a dozen of smartphones this year. With the launch of Moto Z2 Play, Moto C, and Moto C Plus last month and now leaked image of Moto G5S Plus, the information seems to more legit than ever. In the latest leak, Moto G5S Plus has surfaced online in live images. As per previous reports, Moto G5S Plus with dual-rear camera setup is expected to launch on July 25 in New York.
Moto G5S Plus, as the name suggests will be a larger variant of the currently available Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. According to SlashLeaks, the Moto G5S Plus smartphone boasts an increased display, anodized aluminum body and dual camera setup on the back with improved bokeh or the depth-of-field effect. Other expected feature on the Moto G5S Plus include a fingerprint scanner on the front and selfie camera with LED flash
The USP of the camera seems to be the dual rear camera which comprises a pair of 13-megapixel camera sensor (RGB+Monochrome). The circular protruding camera ring also houses dual LED flash. With the focus on photography, the camera is said to offer detailed bokeh effect, background replacement feature, and selective greyscale filters. The front snapper on the Moto G5S Plus is said to be increased to an 8-megapixel sensor as compared to the 5-megapixel sensor on the Moto G5 Plus. From what we know so far, the Moto G5S Plus will feature a Full HD (1080p) display which will be slightly larger than the 5.5-inches display on Moto G5 Plus. It is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via microSD card. The phones might launch in grey, gold, and blue color variants. It is said to run on Android Nougat out-of-the-box.
