A couple of weeks ago it was discovered that Ubisoft was working on a remaster called Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection. It would contain Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations – three games starring the franchise’s most popular protagonist, Ezio.
Today, Amazon Italy has listed a release date for it. Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will be able from November 17 for a price of 50.82 Euros (around Rs. 3,800). If this pricing is accurate, you can expect it to be available in India for Rs. 2,999 or Rs. 3,499 which is what remasters usually go for in the country.
Earlier in the year Ubisoft stated that Assassin’s Creed would be taking a year off is needed to “evolve the game mechanics” of everyone’s favourite historical murder simulator series.
“This year, we also are stepping back and re-examining the Assassin’s Creed franchise. As a result, we’ve decided that there will not be a new Assassin’s Creed game in 2016. Since the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity, we’ve learned a lot based on your feedback,” a post from the publisher read at the time. “We’ve also updated our development processes and recommitted to making Assassin’s Creed a premier open-world franchise.”
With a wealth of new games hitting the shelves both digital and physical from September onwards, it’s safe to say that Ubisoft will probably release this early next year in the run up to its next new Assassin’s Creed game that’s possibly going to take place in Egypt.
