Asus has unveiled a new ZenFone Go variant in Russia. The new Asus ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) has been priced at RUB 7990 (approximately Rs. 8,250) and is now available to buy in Russia. Unfortunately, there is no word when the handset is planned for availability in more markets.
Notably, the new Asus ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) is the successor to the ZenFone Go (ZB452KG), and comes with upgraded innards under the hood.
The ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. The handset comes with 1GB of RAM and packs 8GB of storage. It supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) comes with 3G and 4G connectivity options, with the latter supporting LTE Cat. 4 download speeds. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is 2-megapixel front camera also on board. It is backed by a 2070mAh battery. The handset runs ZenUI 2.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) measures 136.5×66.7×11.2mm and weighs 135 grams. The launch was first reported by a Russian site.
To recall, Asus launched the ZenFone Go (ZB452KG) in India back in April priced at Rs. 5,299.
Earlier this month, Asus launched another variant of the ZenFone Selfie smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 12,999, the new 3GB RAM and 16GB storage variant came with a new Diamond cut rear panel design.
