Taipei-based technology major BenQ on Tuesday launched a new eye care monitor in India which, the company claims, is equipped with Low Blue Light Plus and Brightness Intelligence technology that allow users to enjoy high quality audio-visual content without hurting their eyes.
According to BenQ, the Brightness Intelligence Technology detects the amount of ambient light in the viewing environment and automatically adjusts the brightness for the most comfortable viewing experience possible.
“More than ever, we now need technology that protects our eyes and takes overall screen viewing experience to the next level,” said Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ, India, in a statement.
The 27-inch Rs. 17,500 Benq EW2775ZH monitor has AMVA+ (Advanced Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment ‘Plus’) panel, full-HD resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.
The monitor features true 8-bit colour (no dithering) and light matte screen surface with Ultra high 3000:1 native contrast ratio and offers Smart Focus and Cinema Mode.
Other specifications include 6-axis colour adjustment with the AMA (Advanced Motion Acceleration) pixel overdrive feature and connectivity ports include two HDMI 1.4 ports, VGA and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The monitor also houses two speakers (2-Watt each).
