HP on Wednesday announced a new range of laptops starting at Rs 95,000. There are three laptops under the HP 800 series- HP EliteBook 830 G5 at Rs 97,000, HP EliteBook 840 G5 at Rs 95,000, HP EliteBook 850 G5 at Rs 97,000 and two laptops under the Zbook series- Zbook 14U at Rs 97,000 and Zbook 15U at Rs 97,000. While the 800 series laptops are already available, the Zbook series laptops will be available April onwards.
The company claims that HP ZBook 14u is the world’s thinnest mobile workstation. The device measures 17.9 mm and weighs 3.27 lbs. Company states that ZBook 14u is 28 per cent thinner than the previous generation and includes an optional 4K touch display with anti-glare technology.
Both ZBook 14u and 15u feature an 8th generation Intel Core Quad Core Processors with vPro technology and AMD Radeon Pro graphics with more than 24 ISV certifications for CAD.

Whether it’s the world’s thinnest devices or the industry’s most robust security features, HP is redefining the commercial PC experience for the modern workforce.”
The HP EliteBook 800 series is the first of several HP business notebooks to feature 8th generation Intel Core vPro processors, which company claims can offer up to 15 hours of battery and support HP Fast Charge that charges charge 50 percent of the battery in just 30 minutes.
The HP EliteBook 830 G5 replaces the previous HP EliteBook 820 G4 with a 13-inch screen in a 12-inch notebook profile. The HP EliteBook 840 G5 sports a 14-inch display with 8th generation Intel Core processors.
Both the EliteBook 840 and the HP EliteBook 850 G5 include AMD RX540 discrete graphics for users who need greater performance for graphics-intensive workloads and collaboration applications.
The new HP laptops come equipped with HP security features including HP Sure View, HP Sure Click, Window s Hello, optional privacy camera, and HP Multi-Factor Authenticate.
