Huawei has introduced the Y6 Pro smartphone, which is now listed on the company’s official site. Unfortunately, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the Huawei Y6 Pro at the moment.
It’s worth mentioning that the Y6 Pro has been listed only on the company’s mobile site, hinting that it could be accidentally revealed.
The highlight of the Y6 Pro smartphone is its large 4000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 39 hours of talk time, and can last up to 24 hours with just 10 percent battery with the Smart Power Saving mode turned on. The Huawei Y6 Pro will be competing against various Android smartphones with the similar gigantic battery.
The dual-SIM Y6 Pro smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with company’s Emotion UI 3.1 Lite skin on top. It comes with a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735P) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage while there is no word about expandable storage support. It sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front camera also on board.
On the connectivity front, the Huawei Y6 Pro offers 4G, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. It measures 143.1×71.8×9.7mm and weighs 160 grams. It will be available in Gold, White, and Grey colours.
Last month, Huawei’s Honor brand launched two new smartphones in India, the Honor 5X and Honor Holly 2 Plus. The Honor 5X was priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 2GB of RAM variant, while the Honor Holly 2 Plus was priced at Rs. 8,499.
