After showing its new Tab 4 series at this year’s MWC, Lenovo has launched it here in India, comprising of four new models. The Tab 4 range starts from Rs 12,990 for the Tab 4 8 and goes all the way up to Rs 24,990 for the top-end Tab 4 10 Plus.
The entry-level model is the Tab 4 8 with a price tag of Rs 12,990. The tablet sports an 8-inch HD display and is built on a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 64-bit quad-core SoC along with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB. The tablet runs on Android Nougat 7.0 and has a 5MP rear camera as well as a 2MP front camera. It is powered by 4850mAh battery.
The Rs 16,990 Tab 4 8 Plus is a performance focussed version of the standard model with an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz along with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage, though it can be expanded up to 128GB storage. The 8-inch display also gains Full HD resolution and an 8MP auto-focus rear camera along with a 5MP front camera.
The Tab 4 10 is essentially the Tab 4 8 with a bigger 10-inch and a bigger 7000mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 24,990. The Tab 4 10 Plus is the flagship tablet offering, which is essentially a bigger Tab 4 8 Plus with a 10-inch Full HD display and a bigger 7000mAh battery. It also gains a USB Type-C port for faster data transfer speeds. It is priced at Rs 29,990.
