Lenovo has launched its new line of products in the ThinkPad range. The 2018 ThinkPad range offer thinner, lighter design. They are powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core processors. Lenovo has also focused on security with options of fingerprint reader, eye tracking IR camera and a new ThinkShutter Privacy camera.
The range includes new products in the ThinkPad X, T and L series. Highlight of the new range is the ThinkPad X1 Carbon (Rs 1,21,000 onwards) and X1 Yoga (Rs 1,26,000 onwards) – both of which are world’s first to offer Dolby Vision HDR support. The X1 Yoga is also the world’s first convertible with integrated pressure sensitive pen and global LTE-A capabilities. Both laptops come with a new ThinkShutter Camera with a privacy cover and an IR camera with eye tracking. Other laptops in the X series include the ThinkPad X280 (Rs 73,000 onwards) and X380 Yoga (Rs 87,000 onwards). These laptops have Military grade durability and come with rapid charge support that gives 80% charge in 60 minutes. The X280 has a claimed 16.6 hours battery life while the X380 offers up to 13.6 hours battery.
ThinkPad T series include the T480 (Rs 69,000 onwards), T480s (Rs 86,000 onwards) and T580 (Rs 74,000 onwards). This range comes with IR camera, fingerprint reader and the new ThinkShutter camera privacy. Weighing just 1.3kg, the ThinkPad T480s is one of the lightest business laptops available today. The Thinkpad T580 offer optional discrete graphics and option of a UHD display.
Lenovo ThinkPad L series has been updated with the L380 Yoga (Rs 65,000 onwards), L380 (Rs 61,000 onwards), L480 (Rs 54,000 onwards) and L580 (Rs 55,000 onwards). These laptops come with optional multi-touch display, docking solutions and the ThinkPad L580 also has an option of discrete AMD graphics.

All the new laptops in the ThinkPad 2018 range feature USB Type-C port for charging (except L series). Lenovo also announced a new side mechanical dock for the new ThinkPad range. The new range will be available online and in stores from April 2018.
