Legion by Lenovo, the dedicated sub-brand we first laid eyes on at CES 2017 has arrived in India.
The new brand brings PC gaming to the masses with two affordable gaming laptops – the Lenovo Legion Y520 and Legion Y720.

LENOVO LEGION Y520
The Legion Y720 certainly looks the part of a gaming laptop, with its flashy red backlit keyboard and trackpad guaranteed to get you noticed. Under the hood you’re getting great specs starting at an affordable price of ₹92,802. The base model comes powered by an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD with 128GB SSD and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 4GB GDDR5.
There is one more upgrade option for the Legion Y520 – For ₹1,05,310 you’ll get the same Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor but the latest Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5.
LENOVO LEGION Y720
In the other corner, we have the Legion Y720 that certainly made an impression on us at CES 2017. With its multicoloured flashing keyboard, 15.6-inch FHD display and prominent Dolby Atmos surround sound speakers (the first Windows-based laptop to have them), the Lenovo Legion Y720 is undeniably impressive first sight, and underneath it’s no slouch either.
The ₹1,50,327 Y720 is powered by the latest 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM at 2400MHz (12.5% faster than stock DDR4), Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5, and a 1TB SATA HDD. The Y720 is VR ready, supports the Razer Core external graphics enclosure and Microsoft Xbox Play Anywhere feature.
