LG’s second-generation X-series smartphone, the X Power, has finally gone on sale in the UK. The LG X Power smartphone is now available online in the UK and has been priced GBP 199.98 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the unlocked version.
To recall, LG unveiled the X Power smartphone back in June alongside the LG X Style, and the LG X Max, as well as LG X Mach smartphones without announcing availability or pricing details. As of now, there is no word whether the LG X Power smartphone will be available in markets outside the UK.
The biggest highlight of the LG X Power smartphone is its 4100mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 27 hours of talk time on 3G; up to 925 hours of standby time on 3G; up to 19 hours of video playback, and up to 185 hours of audio playback.
The LG X Power smartphone features a 5.3-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) LCD display and sports Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection from scratches. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based smartphone runs LG UX 5.0 on top. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of on-board storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The LG X Power sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and also packs a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other standard connectivity options. The X Power also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 for fast charging. The LG X Power is currently available in the UK via a third-party e-commerce website.
