Micromax, after listing its Spark 3 (Q385) smartphone on the company website earlier this month, has finally launched the handset in India priced at Rs. 4,999. It will be available to buy from Snapdeal via a flash sale method starting April 7. Registrations for the first sale however, will commence from April 1. The Canvas Spark 2 successor comes with a bigger and better display, more RAM, higher resolution camera, double the inbuilt storage, a bigger battery, and more.
As mentioned before, the Micromax Canvas Spark 3 is a dual-SIM smartphone running Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a quad-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 1GB DDR3 RAM. It also houses an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera along with a 5-megapixel fixed focus front-camera.
The Canvas Spark 3, for music enthusiasts, includes 1.5CC Box 2509 speakers and on the connectivity front features regular option such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity. Backed by a 2500mAh battery, the handset houses 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). It will also come with preloaded apps like Hike, OLX, Skype and Gaana.
