Nokia 9 PureView is expected to launch at the Mobile World Congress by HMD Global on February 24, 2019. Leaks suggest that the company will also launch Nokia 3.1 successor, Nokia 3.2 alongside Nokia 9 PureView.
Nokia 9 PureView has been making headlines for a couple of months as the leaks and rumours do not seem to stop surfacing on the internet. Yet again the image of the device has been subjected to a new leak which reportedly reveals some key design details of the Nokia 9 PureView flagship. On the other hand, previous leaks have suggested that the upcoming device from HMD Global will come with a penta lens camera setup, up to 8GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and a 4150mAh battery with wireless charging support.
The new press renders have indicated that the Nokia 9 PureView will feature thick bezels just above and below the display while at the back, it will feature five-Zeiss cameras with LED flash. Though there still has been no confirmation regarding the sensors, it is expected to come with a large main sensor, an ultra-wide sensor, a telephoto sensor and a depth or a monochrome sensor. There could also be a time of flight 3D camera.
The official press renders were shared by 91Mobiles which gives us a glimpse of the upcoming Nokia 9 PureView smartphone. As per the report, the Nokia branding will be placed at the top-right corner on the front panel just next to the selfie camera. There will be an in-display fingerprint sensor which a feature that we have seen in mid-range smartphones such as Oppo K1, Honor View20 to name a few. The earpiece and the sensors will be planted just above the screen. From the image, it is clear that the Nokia 9 PureView will feature the Android One branding on the rear panel while it will also sport a curved-edged design for better ergonomics. Further, the power and volume buttons will be placed on the right side of the device.
Coming to the Nokia 9 PureView specifications, it is tipped to arrive with 5.9-inch HD+ OLED display. The handset will run on Android 9 Pie and will be backed by IP68 water resistance rating. As mentioned above, there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, under the hood which will come coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.
