Oppo R11s with 20MP front and rear cameras to be announced on November 2

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has announced that will launch its R11s smartphone at an event in China on November 2. Successor to the R11, the smartphone will sport a 20MP front and rear cameras.

The teaser image of the phone also highlights that it will flaunt a metal unibody and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.

As per speculations, the Oppo R11s will feature a 6-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.

The smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The device comes with hybrid dual SIM functionality and sports a dual rear camera setup with 16MP + 20MP modules. There will also be a 20MP front shooter for selfies.

It is expected to be backed by a 3205mAh battery.

Last week, Oppo announced that it will launch its flagship smartphone F5 in India on November 2. The invite doesn’t reveal much about the launch and reads, ‘Come capture the real you with Oppo’s Selfie Expert’. The smartphone is expected to sport a display of 18:9 aspect ratio like many of the smartphones available in the market.

As per earlier reports, the Oppo F5 is expected to come with a 6-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will sport dual front cameras either 12MP or 16MP. There will also be a 20MP rear camera with LED flash and it will be backed by a 4000mAh battery. It is also expected that the smartphone will offer 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 or 630 processor.
