After the Eluga Note, Panasonic has now launched a smartphone in the budget category. The Panasonic T44 Lite will exclusively be sold on Snapdeal from Monday, and will be priced at Rs. 3,199.
As for specifications, the Panasonic T44 Lite supports dual-SIM (Normal+Micro) cards, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It features a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone offers 8GB of inbuilt storage, with the option to expand via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Optics include a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a 0.3-megapixel front camera for selfies. Camera features include Burst Mode, Just Shut Mode, Panaroma, and Digital Image Stabilisation. The Panasonic T44 Lite packs a 2400mAh battery that’s rated to deliver up to 20 hours of 2G talk time, 8.5 hours of 3G talk time, and up to 400 hours of standby talk time.
Connectivity options include GSM 800/900/1800/1900, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support. There is no support for 4G connectivity. The Panasonic T44 Lite’s dimensions measure at 127.3x66x9.65 mm, and it weighs 137 grams. The smartphone will be made available in Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, and Electric Blue colour options. Panasonic offers one year manufacturing warranty for the T44 Lite smartphone.
Earlier this month, Panasonic launched the Eluga Note for the price of Rs. 13,290. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD display, 1.3GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage.
