Vivo India is all set to launch the V11 Pro successor in India on February 20. It is the Vivo V15 Pro. Ahead of the launch, Vivo has showcased the V15 Pro is some TV commercials. The advertisements show the upcoming V15 Pro in all its glory. There’s a lot to look forward to in the Vivo V15 Pro but one of the key highlights of the phone is the pop-up selfie camera, something that we have seen on the Vivo NEX previously. The Vivo V15 Pro will come with a 32-megapixel front shooter.
Overall, the Vivo V15 Pro is going to be an improved version f the V11 Pro in almost all aspects. The company has confirmed that the V15 Pro will include three cameras on the rear panel paired with LED flash. One of the key highlights of the V11 Pro that launched in September last is the in-display fingerprint sensor. The V15 Pro will continue the legacy but the in-display fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the screen of the phone is expected to be much faster at unlocking the phone than the V11 Pro.
With just a few days to go for the V15 Pro, rumours and leaks have revealed almost everything about the Vivo phone including the expected price. Let’s take a quick look at everything we know about Vivo’s upcoming V series smartphone.
–The Vivo V15 Pro is going big on cameras. On the front, the V15 Pro will include a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera while on the back side the phone will feature three cameras placed in a vertical fashion.
–On the rear panel, the V15 Pro will include a primary camera of 48-megapixel sensor, secondary camera of 8-megapixel and lastly the third camera will consist of 5MP sensor. The rear cameras of the V15 Pro will be paired with LED flash which will sit right below the primary camera. The second and third camera will follow the flash in the same vertical camera module. The V15 Pro will also come with lots of AI camera features.
–The Vivo V15 Pro will be an advanced version of the V11 Pro. Besides the in-display fingerprint sensor another great feature about the V11 Pro was the big, bright and vibrant display. Similar is expected to be the case for the V15 Pro as well. Rumours suggest that the V15 Pro will come with a Super AMOLED display similar to its predecessor.
–The screen size of the V15 Pro is yet to be revealed but we expect the display of the V15 Pro to be slightly bigger than the V11 Pro. To recall, the V11 Pro packs a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with 2340x1080p resolution, an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and screen to body ratio of 91.27 per cent.
–The V15 Pro will also be way more powerful than the V11 Pro. Last year’s V11 Pro was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset. With the V15 Pro Vivo takes the hardware setup a notch higher. The Vivo V15 Pro is rumoured to come packed with Snapdragon 675 chipset.
–Like the Vivo V11 Pro, the V15 Pro is also expected to come in only one variant. Rumours suggest that the Vivo V15 Pro will be available in one model with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
–Rumours also suggest that the Vivo V15 Pro will come packed with a 3,700mAh battery paired with a Dual Engine fast charging technology which is as fast as the OnePlus Dash charger.
–Alongside the full specs sheet, the pricing details of the Vivo V15 Pro have also been leaked. In India, the Vivo V15 Pro is expected to be slightly pricier than the V11 Pro which launched for Rs 25,990. The Vivo V15 Pro India price is expected to be between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon India store.
–If only Vivo can get the V15 Pro India price right the smartphone can set a benchmark in the country with the offerings it offers. Ahead of the V15 Pro launch, Vivo has reduced the India price of the V11 Pro by Rs 2,000. The Vivo V11 Pro currently retails for Rs 23,990 in India.
