Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 2GB RAM Variant to Go on Sale for First Time on Friday

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 variant with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage (Rs. 9,999) will go on sale for the first time at 12pm IST on Friday, February 3, via Mi.com. Along with this model, the other two variants of the smartphone – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage (Rs. 10,999), and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage (Rs. 12,999) – will also go on sale at the same time on Friday.

Considering the price point of the basic Redmi Note 4 (Review) model, it is expected to receive the maximum traction compared to other versions in India.

On Friday, all the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 variants will be available in Gold and Grey colours. A new Matte Black colour variant of the Redmi Note 4 is also expected to debut in India soon, though there are no availability details at the moment.

Last month, Xiaomi announced that 250,000 units of the Redmi Note 4 were sold in 10 minutes in the smartphone’s first sale in the country.

The Redmi Note 4 seems set to be a very popular smartphone in the country, following in the footsteps of its predecessor the Redmi Note 3. Some of the highlights of the Redmi Note 4 are solid metal body, processor performance, and improved camera compared to the Redmi Note 3. To refresh on the specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a 5.5-inch full-HD display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 625 SoC. At the rear, there is a 13-megapixel camera sensor with dual-LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. In the front, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel sensor. It sports a large 4100mAh battery, supports VoLTE, and runs on MIUI 8 based android 6.0 Marshmallow.
